You are perfectly imperfect

perfectly imperfectThe best think you can do for yourself is to be comfortable in your own skin. I am working on that this year.

I really made some major changes in my life last year. By focusing on my health, I have become stronger mentally and physically! I still find myself focusing on the flaws, though.

I always tell my son- if the world were full of Jacobs it would be a dull and confusing place. Sound advise, and I am learning to take it.

Look in the mirror today and every day and love the person you see.  It is easy for me to love my small waste, but to love my legs…that is another story.  I will work to see strong legs that carry me through my day.  Legs that take me on a run when I need to decompress and I will be thankful for their strength.

We can always strive to be better versions of ourselves, but we should never strive to be or look like someone else. Our bodies and spirits are uniquely ours!  Treat them well and they will reward you with health and happiness.  Just remember…you are perfectly imperfect!
